Meet Dr. Mickey Mondragon

Dr. Mickey Mondragon, is an Albuquerque native. He graduated from Rio Grande High School and earned his degree in nutrition from The University of New Mexico. He is a Parker University graduate, where he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.

Dr. Mondragon’s passion for chiropractic stems from his personal experience of healing that could have never been obtained without following the recommended treatment plan from a chiropractor. He chose to enter the chiropractic profession because of the way his life was changed through receiving regular chiropractic adjustments. A major car accident left him with a broken arm, leg, and fractured neck . He tried utilizing traditional medical treatment and physical therapy for his injuries—but only got so far. He sought the help of a chiropractor and followed a care plan that was given to him, that included receiving regular chiropractic adjustments. After a few adjustments his pain levels were greatly reduced. With routine chiropractic care he gained back normal function of his arm and leg, with full range of motion. Chiropractic allowed him to get his life back. For him, it is much more than getting people out of pain—chiropractic changes people’s lives by bringing the body into alignment, which allows them to live a life that they are meant to live.

Chiropractic is so much deeper than what most people think; it goes well beyond the “snap” of the neck or “crack” of the back. A chiropractic adjustment to the spine impacts the areas of the brain that allow us to experience life. “Adjust the spine and you change the brain. Change someone’s brain and you change their life. It’s as simple as that.”

Over the course of Dr. Mondragon’s career, he has served patients from infants to senior adults. He has experience caring for patients with, headaches/migraines, anxiety, neck pain, upper and lower back pain, sciatica, arthritis and more.

When Dr. Mondragon is not working as a chiropractor, he enjoys: cooking, hiking, camping, and biking. His favorite thing is to spend time with his loved ones and his dog, Fred.
